TUPE Changes

The TUPE landscape is once again set to change following publication of the Government’s draft Regulations.

‘CRATUPEAR’ as it has become known, the Collective Redundancies and Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) (Amendment) Regulations, take effect on 31 January 2014 and amend the 2006 Regulations.

The Regulations give welcome clarification on a number of important TUPE issues, and readers should look out for further publications and comments from Irwin Mitchell in the coming weeks.
